Year 3 Pine 2017 - 2018
Welcome back after the Easter holidays, I hope you all enjoyed plenty of family time.
In the new term the whole school will be studying a new topic - Wonderful Water. We will be looking at different aspects of the geography of water including world oceans, local canals with an exceiting trip planned!
In science, we will be focusing on magnets and forces, looking at different forces including push and pull and friction, we will even make our own compasses using magnets.
As you will see from the attached copy of the timetable, P.E is on Thursdays and Fridays this year, children will need to bring in their P.E kits on the first day of term and keep them in school until half term. As winter is coming, children need to have a pair of black/navy jogging bottoms and a black/navy hoody for out door PE as well as their usual P.E kit. We are continuing our swimming lesson at Ellesmere Sport Swimming Village untill the 23rd May.
***Please make sure your child has their snack money ready on the first day of the week***
remember you can now use Parent Pay to pay for your child's school lunches online.
The children really enjoy Sumdog online quizzes, please encourage your child to play the maths games.
