Year 3 Pine 2017 - 2018
We have had a brilliant first term in year three, the children have thoroughly enjoyed learning about the Stone Age amongst other topics.
In the new year we will be studying a new topic - Where in the world is Greece? We will be looking at different aspects of the geography of Greece including its climate, cultural dance and food of the region to name a few.
In science, we will be focusing on the human boody and looking at different skeletons and muscle, bone and joint function. As well as investigating what our body needs to be healthy.
A huge welcome to our very own University students, Miss Ooi and Miss Tonge. They are in their second year at University of Chester, training to be teachers, we wish them well over the coming weeks.
As you will see from the attached copy of the timetable, P.E is on Thursdays and Fridays this year, children will need to bring in their P.E kits on the first day of term and keep them in school until half term. As winter is coming, children need to have a pair of black/navy jogging bottoms and a black/navy hoody for out door PE as well as their usual P.E kit. Swimming will start after February half term a letter will come out in due course.
