Year 5 - Sycamore 2020 - 2021
Welcome to Year 5: Sycamore Class
18 04 21 Welcome Back!
That was a lovely long break wasn't it? It was great to be able to meet up with friends AND get into Wales! I hope you've all had a good rest and are ready to come back and work hard? Mmmmmmm I might have to think about that one too!
Our topic this term is: Sow, Grow and Farm.
I haven't done this one before but I quite like the look of it. I was just about to launch into an explanation about what we will be covering but I think the title says it all really!
There are some ideas for optional home learning available for you to download. If anyone you know has an allotment, it would be great to see some photographs!
- PE days for our class - Monday (outdoor) and Thursday (indoor)
- If possible bring packed lunch in a disposable bag, but it is not a requirement
- Everyone to wear uniform, except on PE days, wear PE kit all day
- Bring in as few things as possible e.g. no need for bags, books etc
- Water bottles are essential as the weather gets warmer
- Lunch menus are on the school website and lunch can be ordered on a day in class
- Lunch and tuck to be paid for using Parent Pay
- Our class email is: firstname.lastname@example.org
If you have any worries, please do not hesitate to email me.
It is important that we have strong lines of communication between ourselves and home; if you have any concerns regarding your child, please do not hesitate to contact us.
I would normally encourage you to come and see me after school but that will be difficult with all the restrictions. Email me with any issues / problems and I will reply by email or phone if necessary.
From Sept these will be the options:
SLICE OF TOAST 25p
HALF OF BAGEL 30p
AQUA JUICE CARTON (150ml) 35p
CARTON OF MILK (189ml) 25p
All will be ordered and paid for via Parent Pay. No cash will be taken/handled.
