Hello Oak Class!
This is our very own class page. I will upload some learning tasks for you each day - please try to complete as many of the tasks as possible. I look forward to talking to you all about how you have got on when we get back to school.

5.5.20 - Singing
Sing Up has a huge variety of free songs, lyrics and backing tracks for children to sing at home, as well as suggested activities to accompany the songs. There are also demonstrations of songs performed with British Sign Language and Makaton. There is no need to register, just visit the website and start singing!
27.4.20 - Phonics
Please see the attached letter for information regarding daily online phonics lessons which have been published by the Department for Education. The lessons are based around the Letters and Sounds programme which we follow when teaching phonics in school.

20.4.20 - New Home Learning Resources/Government Guidance
The sector-led Oak National Academy has today launched its online classroom and resource hub. The Academy offers 180 video lessons each week for schools to use, across a broad range of subjects. The lessons cover children in Reception through to Year 10 and are free to use by both teachers and young people.
The BBC has today launched an education package across TV and online, featuring celebrities and teachers, helping to keep children learning at home and supporting parents.
