School's chosen Charity
Each year we choose a charity to support. We raise funds through own clothes days, competitions, charity specific collections.
Our Charity Workers help to organise events.
This academic year 2017 2018 all of Year 6 are responsible charity workers who will take it in turn to help at events.
Our first event of the year is the MacMillan coffee morning when we will help Mrs Hill and the toddler mums to run a coffee morning.

Children in Need
Children and Staff brought their teddy bears to school and wore their own clothes instead of school uniform. Many pupils added face paints and came as Pudsey Bear.
Christmas Jumper day
Pupils and Staff wore their Christmas jumpers and gave a donation to charity. Thank you to all who donated.
Operation Christmas Child Boxes
The children generously brought in items to make up Christmas boxes to be given to children in other countries. View the pictures to see the shoe boxes and charity workers helping load the van.
The Pupils took part in Fair Trade fortnight. We attended an assembly and the Key Stage 2 Pupils took part in workshops learning about the organisation and its good work. After school parents, carers and pupils were invited to a 'coffee afternoon' where they could purchase Faitrade refreshments and products.
We would like to thank Neil and the team for sharing his knowledge and work and Miss Castellain for coordinating the event.
See our gallery for photos of the day.
The Pupils and staff wore sporty clothes, we walked or ran the sport mile and raised money by donating £1 each to the charity.
