Computing, technology, and the need for digital literacy is everywhere. At Sutton Green, we teach computing through our Cornerstones topics. We also promote the use of technology through all curriculum subjects. We deliver computing through both unplugged and plugged-in lessons, for example asking them to think like a computer, design, write and debug algorithms, and use technology to serve a purpose.

We provide our pupils with access to a range of technology to enrich the curriculum, such as:

  • Huawei tablets in every class,
  • Windows laptops in every class,
  • Promethean Activ-Panels in every class,
  • Bee-Bots,
  • Pro-Bots,
  • Google Classroom,
  • Green-screen technology

As a school, we celebrate Safer Internet Day. We use this as an opportunity to celebrate and reflect on how safely we use technology both at home and at school.
