Puppet Making

EYFS and Year 1 pupils enjoyed making puppets with their parents in a recent Family Learning session. See our photos for our amazing puppets.

At Sutton Green we are proud to work in partnership with families. A recent successful project, in the family learning, has been the creating a Story Sack as a learning tool for all pupils across the school - linked to work completed in PHSE lessons. Well done to all the parents involved. The Story Sack was presented in assembly and the parents involved all took home a 'Superstar Learner' certificate. We are looking forward to the next project!

Over a dozen parents enjoyed a series of workshops based around skills 'Make learning fun!' involving Literacy, Numeracy, Art and DT. The first hour of the workshop involved input from Nina from Family Learning and the second hour involved practical activities with their children. We are hoping to revisit these workshops in the future as they were extremely successful and popular with both parents and pupils.
