Pirate fun in Ash Class

Lesson: EYFS

Class: EYFS Year: 2023 - 2024

Ash class have had great fun with our 'The Pirates are Coming' topic.  We have found treasure, made maps, designed pirates and used adjectives in our writing about them.  In the woods children chose to mark areas where they buried their 'treasure'.  During the week we have celebrated Down's Syndrome day with our odd socks and have been busy learning some sign language for British Sign Language week.

Amy, from Cheshire Cricket, talked to us all today about her journey into cricket and especially her struggle being the only female cricketer at school and university.

Year 6 had a fun camp out on the school field on Friday. Their favourite memories were Pepper, S'moors, rounders and performing ....... again! They were so well behaved that the staff all enjoyed themselves too. Even the rain didn't dampen their spirits -

Year 5 enjoyed their drumming workshop with Amasing!
