Title: Important: School closure date and change to KS1 nativity.

Subject: School closure due to General Election

Change of date!

To Parents and Carers,

I hope that you have had a good half term break. Whilst we have been off you will be aware that there has been a call for a General Election on Thursday 12th December. As our school is used for a Polling Station we will be closed to the pupils on this day. This is an unavoidable closure that is not the decision of the school. The poll clerks and poll assistants have full access to our facilities on these events so in line with our safeguarding policy pupils will not be in the building.

Our Key Stage 1 (Y1 &Y2) nativity was due to be on the 12th December. This will now take place on Tuesday 10th December. This will be a joint EYFS/KS1 performance as it has been in previous years. There will be three performances: morning 10am-11pm, afternoon 2pm - 3pm and an early evening performance 5pm-6pm. The event will be by ticket only due to the increased number of children in the infants. Details and forms to get tickets will be sent nearer the event.

We thank you for your understanding with this situation.

We will keep you informed of any further information via our newsletter, Facebook, text and email.

Please remember our weekly newsletter is available on our website and can also be emailed you to.
